Dedicated. Athletic. Social. These select words seem to fit me as if I existed as a puzzle and they served as the pieces. When given a task, I always work my hardest to execute it to the top of my abilities. Day in and day out, I constantly have a sports practice or game brewing around the corner, sometimes appearing never ending. When I finally have days free of activities, I enjoy spending time with my friends, for they can somehow make everything that life throws at me just melt away.

Hi, I am Casey Collet and as my freshman year of high school continues, I would like to reflect upon my goals, so that I can create a path which ensures that I achieve my ambitions. In my academics, I want to set the high standard of earning straight A’s, along with grasping all of the material being taught. Even if these plans do not follow through, I want to always obtain the ability to truthfully say that I tried and worked my hardest.
Pertaining to another big part of my life, athletics seem to fill my days. I intend to get into great shape so that I will be capable of flying through both soccer and basketball practices without great difficulty. Improving upon my skills, such as my shot with its range and accuracy, along with ball handling in both sports stands as another standard that I hold for myself.
Through all of these activities, I’m determined to remain close to my friends attending different high schools, as well as establish new friendships with these students that will surround me for the next four years. A balance between school, sports, friends, and family remains essential to me because although academics and athletics serves significant to my development, friends and family provide love and support, and without them, I would not survive the school year.
All of these plans and goals will help lead up to my lifetime ambitions, where I intend to graduate from a prestigious college, and then find a job that I love. In the end, I want to establish a family because no matter what happens, your family’s always right there by your side.
Achieving all of these goals will be challenging, and at times I may break down, but in the end everything will work out, it always does.
